I have been programming for over 5 years, being entirely self-taught and focusing primarily on simple yet expressive languages such as C and Lua. I originally started with Lua and then moved onto C, in which I have used to program an operating system and various libraries. I find C++ and Rust repulsive due to their poor syntactic choices and bloated features, which is what makes me stay firmly in C. I use Lua time to time to write simple hobby games, but everything serious I write is in C.
Outside of programming, my only real activity is playing video games. I love primarily Factorio, RimWorld, and Project Zomboid for their complexity and depth.
My active projects include:
- Nexel: a multi-API, platform-agnostic graphics API
- ProcV: An OS to teach me about how operating systems really work
My future projects include:
- Yaro: an imperative, non-GUI-based game engine, making use of Nexel
My compiler, C*, has just gotten a rudimentary parser!
Thought it was about time to have somewhere to document my work.
